The Haven is Crawley Down’s community centre — a welcoming place for activities, clubs, meetings, celebrations and time together.
Join a local group, hire one of our rooms or drop into the Lounge & Bar. Crawley Down Community Centre Association, a registered charity, runs the centre with support from our staff and volunteer trustees.
OUR STORY
The Haven officially opened in 1991, following fundraising by local people. Since then, it has provided a home for local activities, organisations and celebrations in Crawley Down and the surrounding area.
Today, that community purpose continues through the people who use our spaces, run groups and help care for the centre.

Crawley Down Community Centre Association is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), registered in England and Wales. Our charity number is 1173791.
Our charitable purpose is to benefit Crawley Down and its neighbourhood by bringing people together, advancing education and providing facilities for recreation and leisure.
CDCCA Trading Ltd is the charity’s trading subsidiary and operates the Lounge & Bar in support of the charity.
